loan specialist since July 25th, 2002. I entered the real estate field after the September 11
attacks resulted in a furlough from Delta Airlines. As an 11 year veteran U.S. Air Force pilot, I
flew in the first Gulf War, supported the President, NASA, and the DEA, and provided assistance
during a variety of humanitarian relief efforts. I have a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering
from The University of Dayton, and grew up in the town of Alliance in Northeast Ohio. I'm a member
of The First Baptist Church in Benicia and serve as a member of the Benicia Emergency Response Team.
A resident of Benicia since 1993, I have always found the hometown charm here a welcome place to return to after traversing the globe. The shift in careers is a welcome opportunity to leave the suitcase behind. I saw a tremendous opportunity to initially assist my family and friends by helping them save money on their mortgages. Over the years my family has expanded through referrals and I'm happy to say we've been able to do a lot of great loans for a lot of great people.
I try to take the same approach to the loan business as I did when flying--fly safe, lend safe. Most importantly I want my clients to feel comfortable and understand the loan process. Just as I had to know how every switch in the cockpit functioned, I want the borrower to understand every line on their good faith estimate. A loan shouldn't be a mystery with a surprise at the end.
